Artisan Water Mixable Oils work just like conventional oil colors. Artisan’s colour depth, consistancy, lightfastness, opacity/transparency & drying times are all comparable to standard oils. The key difference is that Artisan has the unique ability to be mixed with water. Within Artisan’s formulation, the linseed & safflower oil vehicles have been modified to accept water when added.
